Born: September 16, 1912, Ebute-Metta, Lagos, Nigeria.

Ajose was ed­u­cat­ed at King’s School and the Meth­od­ist Boys’ High School in La­gos. He served as assist­ant or­gan­ist at Wes­ley Church in Olo­wog­bo­wo, La­gos, and in 1957, be­came their full time or­gan­ist. In 1963, he be­came of­fi­cial syn­od or­gan­ist for the Meth­od­ist Con­fer­ence, and lat­er, Gen­er­al Se­cre­ta­ry of the La­gos branch of the As­so­ci­a­tion of Church Mu­si­cians in Ni­ger­ia.
