Died: De­cem­ber 20, 1550, Strass­burg, Ger­ma­ny (now Stras­bourg, France), of the plague.

Greiter was a sing­er and monk in the mon­as­te­ry at Stras­bourg Min­ster. He be­came a Lu­ther­an min­is­ter there in 1524, but lat­er re­turned to Ro­man Ca­thol­i­cism. His works in­clude:

• Teutsch Kirch­en­ampt mit lobi­gseng­en (Stras­bourg: 1525) (with Wolf­gang Dach­stein)
