Died: October 6, 1843.
Hankinson was educated at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge (MA 1831), where he won the Seatonian prize several times. He served as Curate of St. Margaret’s, Lynn, and incumbent of St. Matthew’s Chapel, Denmark Hill. His works include:
- Sacred Poems, 1827. His brothers republished this work in enlarged form as a memorial volume in 1844, and it was re-issued several times (fifth edition in 1860).
