Janvrin worked ex­tens­ive­ly with the Church Miss­ion­a­ry So­ci­e­ty (CMS) and as­so­ci­at­ed or­gan­i­za­tions, writ­ing a hymn for the CMS’ an­nu­al an­niversary for at least 10 years. In 1903, she ed­it­ed the let­ters of Bi­shop Rid­ley of New Cal­e­don­ia, which were pub­lished as Snap­shots from the North Pa­ci­fic.
