King graduated from Queen’s College, Cambridge, and was ordained in 1814. His first post was evidently as Curate of Wellington with Eyton, Shropshire; he became Perpetual Curate of Christ Church, Hull, in 1822. He later served as Curate to Mr. J. Eyton, of Wellington, Shropshire. His works include:
