Killinghall became pastor of the congregation at Beccles, Suffolk, England, October 13, 1697. Through some indiscretion in conduct, he retired from the ministry for a time. Then, around 1702, he became pastor of the Congregational Church Southwark, then meeting in Deadman’s Place (the Church of the Pilgrim Fathers).
