Died: Au­gust 25, 1863, Bourn­emouth, Dor­set, Eng­land.

Son of James Knoll­is, Vi­car of Penn, Fran­cis was ed­u­cat­ed at Mag­dalen Coll­ege, Ox­ford (BA 1837, DD 1851), and took Ho­ly Or­ders in 1838. He was for some time Fel­low of his Coll­ege, Chap­lain to Lord Rib­bles­dale, and In­cum­bent of Fitz­head. His works in­clude:

• A Garland for the School, or Sac­red Vers­es for Sun­day Schola­rs, 1854
