Died: March 2, 1909, Wo­burn, Mass­a­chu­setts.

March at­tend­ed the Mill­bu­ry Acad­e­my, Am­herst Coll­ege and Yale Un­i­ver­si­ty (grad­u­at­ed 1843). Or­dained a Con­gre­ga­tion­al min­is­ter in 1845, he pas­tored in Pres­by­ter­i­an and Con­gre­ga­tion­al church­es. He and an in­tense in­ter­est in miss­ions, and was known for lec­tur­ing on his world tra­vels. His works in­clude:
