Died: Oc­to­ber 11, 1869, Bridge of All­an, Scot­land.

A merchant’s son, Ror­i­son at­tend­ed Glas­gow Un­i­ver­si­ty. He lat­er left the Unit­ed Pres­by­ter­ian Church for the Scot­tish Epis­co­pal Church, and af­ter stu­dy­ing for the min­is­try under Bi­shops Ter­rot and Rus­sell, was or­dained by the lat­ter in 1843. He was for some time Cur­ate of St. James’, Leith; the Epis­co­pal Church, Hel­en­sburgh; and In­cum­bent of St. Pe­ter’s Epis­co­pal Church, Pe­ter­head. His works in­clude:
