Died: Oc­to­ber 23, 1597, Fried­rich­ro­da, Ger­ma­ny.

Schneegass grad­u­a­ted MA from the Un­i­ver­si­ty of Je­na. In 1573, he be­came pas­tor of the St. Blas­i­us church at Fried­rich­ro­da. He was al­so ad­junct to the Su­per­in­tend­ent of Wei­mar, and in that ca­pa­ci­ty signed the For­mu­la of Con­cord in 1579.
