An Ad­vent Christ­ian min­is­ter and de­scend­ant of Ro­ger Will­iams, Sea­mans was a well known song lead­er. He found­ed the Whit­man, Mass­a­chu­setts, Coun­cil of Church­es, and served as sec­re­ta­ry of the Mar­i­on, Mass­a­chu­setts, Camp­meet­ing As­so­ci­a­tion.
