Son of a Wes­ley­an Meth­od­ist min­is­ter, Shea be­gan his sing­ing ca­reer in the choir at his fa­ther’s church, and the Hough­ton, New York, Coll­ege Glee Club. He has long been as­so­ci­at­ed with the Bil­ly Gra­ham evan­gel­ism or­gan­i­za­tion. His works in­clude:
