Sikora was a Po­lish Lu­ther­an pas­tor, teach­er, re­viv­al­ist and song­writ­er. He worked in con­gre­ga­tions in Dorn­feld, Naw­sie and Tesch­en (Cie­szyn). He helped pre­pare ma­ny Po­lish evan­gel­ic­al song­books, and wrote or trans­lat­ed almost 500 songs and hymns. His pas­sion was ser­vice to the poor and dis­ab­led.
