Born: October 6, 1845, Össebygarn, Uppland, Sweden.
Died: November 1, 1922, Karlshamn, Sweden.
Son of an organist, Söderberg studied at the Stockholm conservatory, passed the organist exam in 1867, and graduated in instrumental performance and orchestral conducting in 1870. He served as an organist in Stockholm (1871-73), and taught music in Karlshamn (1873). He taught until 1912, and continued playing the organ until his death.
