Died: Wei­mar, Ger­ma­ny; bur­ied Ap­ril 11, 1704.

Strattner served as Ka­pell­meist­er at the court of Ba­den-Dur­lach, at the Bar­fus­ser­kirche in Frank­furt-am-Main, and in 1694 be­came vice-Ka­pell­meist­er in Wei­mar. He is per­haps best re­mem­bered for com­pil­ing the fifth edi­tion of Jo­ach­im Ne­an­der’s Col­lect­ed Hymns in 1691.
