Son of John Warner, FRCS, LRCP, John was ed­u­cat­ed at the Southwark Miss­ion Coll­ege, and was or­dained a deacon in1878, and priest in 1879. He served as Cur­ate of St. Paul’s, Southampton (1878-80), and later of other parishes, until 1888, when he be­came Vi­car of Hadlow Down, Sus­sex. His works in­clude:
