A grad­u­ate of As­bu­ry Sem­in­a­ry, Week­ley was a bi­shop in the Church of the Unit­ed Breth­ren in Christ (1905), which is now part of the Unit­ed Meth­od­ist de­nom­in­a­tion. His works in­clude:
