We have lit­tle in­for­ma­tion on Wer­ner, who was or­gan­ist in Froh­burg in 1798; as­sist­ant to can­tor Christ­ian Tag in Hoh­en­stein, Sach­sen (Sax­o­ny) in 1808; and or­gan­ist and di­rect­or in Mer­se­burg in 1819.
