Vaughan Will­iams was one of the best known Eng­lish com­pos­ers of the 20th Cen­tu­ry. All the ma­jor mu­sic bio­graph­ic­al dic­tion­ar­ies car­ry ar­ti­cles about him. He served as mu­sic­al ed­it­or for The Eng­lish Hymn­al in 1906.
